Economics as a social science deals with human behaviour in relation to management of scarce resources with the aim of achieving optimum output in all spheres. The subject of Economics cuts across Social and Management Sciences. The subject is made up economic theories, mathematics, statistics and economic policies. The philosophy and mission of this programme is to produce graduates equipped with critical skills and abilities to fulfill the mission and vision of the University of Delta.
